Entering a new era 🌸
Hello friends, it’s been a while. Maybe we’ve used this line a few too many times. Maybe it’s our way of making peace with the fact that we are simply moving at our own pace. Voice This! Podcast continues to be a volunteer, unsponsored side project for us. To be clear, we love what we do and we do it for the people who come next. We hope in our heart of hearts that we’re inspiring the next generation of voice and conversational AI practitioners.
But everything comes at a cost: time, money, health, opportunities. We’ve learned this the hard way. Voice This! is not our full-time job, and as much as we’d like to put putting educational content out for free in the world, we can’t do it at the pace of companies who are dedicated to doing this kind of stuff (paid).
That being said… we’ve been cooking up something special for a while now (try over a year). We may have already teased it here and there. Season 2 is 100% underway. Yes! To our most devoted fans, we hope it will not be long before we can debut season 2 officially on all the platforms. Our podcast content has gotten a massive facelift. New guests. New questions. And yep, we talk about Gen AI, pros and cons.
On moving slow 🐢
Between juggling health demands, potential career moves, and general changes in our lives, the team has decided to slow down on updates and focus on putting out higher quality content. We hope you can embrace this new chapter with us 💙
As always, we’ll keep you all updated on via this newsletter, LinkedIn, and Instagram for the really important announcements.
Making moves IRL ✨
Millani is still killing it at her role as a Prompt Engineering team lead. Outside of work, Millani’s group, AI Speakeasy Toronto, organized a hit networking event last month! (Feb 6th)
Kritika just won a Flipkart employee recognition award??? (and is being so nonchalant about it??)
Also, if you’re in Bengaluru 🇮🇳, go see Kritika’s talk at the upcoming Conversational AI and Customer Experience Summit (April 18-19th)
Elaine is slowly coming back to the CxD yapping circuit with (hopefully) more talks and interviews 👀 She *is* for sure attending Config 2024 in SF though. Reach out and say hi if you’re going! There’s rumors of her hosting an in-person “Friends of CxD” meetup 🌁

Have you seen our Medium publication yet?
Finally, for the first time we have written up and centralized the show notes for Voice This! Podcast. All season 1 episodes can now be found on our Medium page.
This is perfect for anyone who may not want to listen to podcasts, but is still a fan of our content :)
